NIA Region 9, in partnership with the Philippine National Red Cross and the Philippine Army, conducted a successful Bloodletting Activity at the NIA-9 Function Hall, Balintawak, Pagadian City on December 6, 2024.
The activity aimed to increase the city's blood supply and raise awareness about the importance of blood donation. Employees, local volunteers, and partners came together to support the initiative, emphasizing the value of saving lives through this simple yet impactful act. Blood donation advocates highlighted that a single donation could save up to three lives and fostered a spirit of compassion and service among participants.
