ZAMBOANGA CITY - The Institutional Development Officers (IDOs) of ZAMBASULTA - RSO, NIA- Region IX, conducted Basic Leadership Development Course (BLDC) for the newly organized Upper Masaba IA on 17 July 2025.
The training aimed to strengthen the leadership competencies of newly elected IA officers, particularly in developing effective decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational management skills. Through the workshop, participants gained valuable insights and practical strategies to guide their roles as leaders within the IA. The activity forms part of NIA's continuing efforts to capacitate farmer organizations and promote efficient, community-based irrigation management systems across Zamboanga City.
