Three (3) Irrigators Associations (IAs) from Zamboanga del Sur underwent a two-day livelihood training on Processed Food Products by Sugar Concentration specifically Fruit Jam and Marmalade, held on Sept. 21-22, 2022 at NIA SARIS Functional Hall, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur.
The activity was spearheaded by the Institutional Unit of NIA Zamboanga del Sur IMO - SARIS & DIPRIS. This training is part of NIA Region IX's initiatives under Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (EPAHP).
Ms. Grace D. Bahinting, TESDA Training Specialist served as the Resource Speaker, while the participants were the Officers and Board of Trustees of Waterlily IA, Dumingag Rivers FIA, and Marlibama IA.
The IAs are thankful for the opportunity given to them to have a new enterprise, and for the new learning which they could share to their children and fellow irrigators.
