IPIL, ZAMBOANGA SIBUGAY - The NIA Zamboanga Sibugay Irrigation Management Office (ZSIMO) conducted an Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Conference today, July 1, 2025 at its conference hall in Sanito, Ipil. The event, with 53 Irrigators Associations (IAs) in attendance, aimed to address system performance, financial transparency, and collective challenges faced by local Irrigators' Associations (IAs). The meeting focused on sharing updates on the financial status of each IA, identifying operational concerns, and exchanging successful field practices that contribute to better water management. The conference also recognized the dedication of participating associations by awarding certificates of appreciation, reinforcing their role in achieving efficient and sustainable irrigation systems.
Spearheaded by Acting Division Manager Engr. Maria Gertrudes P. Gania, with support from Institutional Development Officers, the initiative reflects NIA's continued commitment to empowering farmer-
beneficiaries through dialogue, capacity building, and joint planning for improved agricultural productivity across the province.
